These Purchase Terms (“Purchase Terms”) govern your purchase and use of subscription plans and paid features offered by Opee Club (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through our website, mobile application, or other channels. These Purchase Terms supplement our general Terms of Use. By making a purchase, you agree to these Purchase Terms.
1. Subscription Plans
Opee Club offers subscription-based membership plans that provide access to curated social events, community features, and member benefits. The specific features, benefits, and pricing of each plan are described on our website and within the app at the time of purchase.
By subscribing to a plan, you receive:
Access to curated weekly events including dinners, padel, comedy nights, workshops, and more in your selected city (London, Paris, or San Francisco).
Membership in your personalized community group based on your quiz results and lifestyle preferences.
Access to the full Opee Club member directory and community features.
Priority booking and exclusive invitations to special events.
Any additional benefits specific to your chosen subscription tier, as described at the point of purchase.
2. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of security certification available in the payments industry. When you make a purchase:
Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe via encrypted connection. Opee Club does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers.
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other payment methods as supported by Stripe in your region.
All prices are displayed in your local currency where possible. Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by Stripe or your card issuer and may include additional fees.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your purchase.
3. Billing Cycles
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the billing cycle you select at the time of purchase. We offer the following billing options:
Monthly billing: Your subscription is billed once per calendar month on the same date as your initial purchase. If your billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.
Annual billing: Your subscription is billed once per year on the anniversary of your initial purchase. Annual plans may offer a discount compared to the equivalent monthly rate.
Your billing cycle begins on the date of your first payment. You will receive an email confirmation and receipt for each payment processed.
4. Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the then-current subscription rate at the beginning of each new billing cycle.
We will send you a reminder notification at least 7 days before your subscription renews, giving you the opportunity to cancel if you wish. If your payment method is declined at renewal, we may attempt to charge it again within a reasonable period. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be suspended or terminated.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, you can:
Navigate to your account settings in the Opee Club app and select “Cancel Subscription.”
Contact our support team at support@opee.app and request cancellation.
Upon cancellation:
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to all membership benefits during this time.
No further charges will be made to your payment method after the current billing period ends.
Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remaining days in your current billing cycle, except as described in our Refund Policy below.
After your subscription expires, you may lose access to member-only features, events, and community groups. Your account and profile data will be retained for 12 months in case you wish to resubscribe.
6. Refund Policy and Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to love being part of Opee Club. That is why we offer a satisfaction guarantee for new members:
First event guarantee: If you attend your first Opee Club event and are not satisfied with the experience, you may request a full refund of your subscription within 7 days after the event. Simply email support@opee.app with your account details and a brief description of your experience.
Processing time: Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and credited back to your original payment method.
Outside of the satisfaction guarantee, refunds are generally not provided for:
Partial billing periods remaining after cancellation.
Events you chose not to attend or were unable to attend due to personal circumstances.
Subscriptions that have been active for more than one billing cycle without a refund request tied to the satisfaction guarantee.
We may, at our sole discretion, provide refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances such as technical issues that prevented you from using the Services, or events that were cancelled by Opee Club.
7. Promotional Codes and Discounts
From time to time, Opee Club may offer promotional codes, discounts, or special offers. These are subject to the following conditions:
Promotional codes are valid only for the period specified and cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.
Each promotional code may be used only once per account unless otherwise stated.
Promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotional codes unless explicitly stated.
Promotional codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another person.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel any promotion at any time without prior notice.
If a promotional code provides a discounted rate for an initial billing period, your subscription will renew at the standard rate for your plan after the promotional period ends.
Abuse of promotional codes, including creating multiple accounts to use the same code, may result in the revocation of the discount and/or termination of your account.
8. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If we change the price of your subscription:
We will notify you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect via email and/or an in-app notification.
The new price will apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notification period.
If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Your cancellation will be processed at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged the new price.
Continuing to use the Services after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you have a billing dispute or concern about a charge, we encourage you to contact us first at support@opee.app so we can resolve the issue promptly. Please include your account email, the date of the charge in question, and a description of the dispute.
We aim to respond to all billing inquiries within 2 business days and resolve disputes within 10 business days. If we are unable to resolve the dispute to your satisfaction through our support process:
You may escalate the matter through Stripe's dispute resolution process by contacting your card issuer.
For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any formal legal action.
Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the governing law provisions set forth in our Terms of Use.
European Union residents may also file complaints with the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
